IVB Umwelttechnik GmbH Brings Holiday Smiles to the Region
As the year draws to a close, companies across the Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge) are exchanging holiday gifts and expressions of gratitude for the Christmas season and the New Year. IVB Umwelttechnik GmbH in Annaberg-Buchholz would also like to personally thank all of its business partners and suppliers. However, this year brings more than just professional well-wishes. To bring a smile to the faces of those who need it most, IVB Umwelttechnik GmbH is making holiday donations to various facilities across the region.
Beneficiaries include the SOS Children’s Village (SOS-Kinderdorf) in Zwickau, the „Kinderherzen“ (Children’s Hearts) initiative in Schwarzenberg, and the „Eichhörnchen“ (Squirrels) daycare center in Geyersdorf. At the SOS Children’s Village, the support is urgently needed to continue providing a high-quality temporary or long-term home for the children entrusted to their care. In Schwarzenberg, the donation will be used to aid children in need, and at the daycare center in Geyersdorf, the funds will go toward expanding the playground for the children.
John Metzner, Managing Director of IVB: „This year, we decided to minimize our budget for business partner gifts and instead redirect these funds toward a meaningful cause. In alignment with our entire workforce, we intend to maintain this tradition in the coming years!“ The checks were presented this week with great joy, bringing bright smiles to both children and adults alike.
