The year 2020 is drawing to a close, and as we reflect on the past 12 months, we look back on a difficult year full of challenges. A year in which planning for tomorrow felt impossible today. A year full of rules and restrictions. A year in which togetherness became something truly special.
In the Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge), the Christmas season is traditionally a time when people draw closer together and share a smile to ease the stress of daily life. This year, we suddenly had to keep our distance and hide our smiles behind masks—something that was not always easy for us.
Even though many business and personal plans were simply canceled this year, it was deeply important to us to make room in our schedule for our traditional Christmas visit to the SOS Children’s Village (SOS-Kinderdorf) in Zwickau. On December 17, 2020, we were able to arrange a brief meeting with Mr. Engelhardt from the children’s village to present our monetary donation of €1,200.
As this extraordinary year comes to an end, we would once again like to thank all of our customers and suppliers for their great and reliable cooperation.
The team at IVB Umwelttechnik GmbH wishes all of our business partners and employees a very Merry Christmas and a healthy start to the New Year!
